Starting in 2012, we are adding the Hampton Roads Pigeon Club's One Loft Race to the National Breeders Championship.
With two race series no longer active (the Gold Country Challenge and the AWOL race series) I will be adding at least two additional races to the list of participating One Loft Race Series.
At the same time, I wanted to do something to help the sport, so one of the new races will be Hampton Roads Pigeon Club's One Loft Race Series. The profits from this race go to support the Hampton Roads Pigeon Club and subsidize their shipping cost. They fly several 500 mile races, a 600 mile race and a 700 mile race.
It is good to see a racing pigeon club benefit from the trend towards YB One Loft Racing. More clubs should look at hosting One Loft Races as a means of supporting their club and being able to afford shipping more long distance races.
Also, the cost of entering birds in the Hampton Roads Pigeon Club's One Loft Race is very low, which helps keep the cost down making the National Breeders Championship more accessible.
There is an attachment pdf file at the bottom of this post. It has all the info on the race.
They have a new website being built, which will be active soon. They also send out regular emails with inventories and updates.
The new website when it is ready, will be at: www.hrpcrace.com
